This means that it has been treated by first heating it under high pressure to dry the wood.

The clear safety cover flips out of the way while you peel, but locks back into place as a protective cover during storage. | We designed the OXO Good Grips Silicone Small Flexible Turner to fit perfectly in small frying pans.
